Jonathan Pollet from Red Tiger Security invited to present at Hacker Halted 2011

Hacker Halted returns to Miami for the 3rd year in a row, and has an impressive line up of topics and presenters. We are honored to be selected to present our work in SCADA Security at this conference, along with the likes of other impressive cyber security experts such as Bruce Schneier, Philippe Courtot, George Kurtz, Jeremiah Grossman, Barnaby Jack, Moxie Marlinspike, Charlie Miller, Thomas Roth, Anton Chuvakin, and more.

I had a chance to speak on a security panel in Kuala Lumpur with Bruce Schneier and Howard Schmidt a few years ago, and recently presented at the BlackHat Abu Dhabi event with Barnaby Jack (...ask me sometime about the gold bar machine hacking incident we were involved in...)

I'm excited to present and hang out with these guys again, and the agenda looks great. If you have an opening in your schedule in late October, make plans to join us down in warm Miami. For more information, check out the event's website:

Hope to see you there!

Jonathan Pollet from Red Tiger Security invited to speak at the NERC Grid Security Conference (GridSecCon 2011)

The NERC Grid Security Conference (GridSecCon 2011) is scheduled to be held from October 18-20, 2011 in my hometown of New Orleans, and I'm looking forward to participating in the conference.  In addition to the excellent agenda put together by Mark Weatherford and his team, the venue also offers the chance to experience some excellent Cajun food, culture, and music. Come enjoy the conference, networking opportunites, and the chance to experience everything that this unique city has to offer. Hopefully see you there!
